Born in Melbourne in 1932, Jennifer Barwell studied at the National Gallery of Victoria Art School. She taught art in Sydney for some years, and has travelled to Europe and the USA. Barwell has exhibited in Sydney and Adelaide and in Victorian galleries. Her work is represented in the Art Gallery of New South Wales and some provincial and private collections.
