Reg Cox was born in Melbourne in 1946. He studied advertising art at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and has worked professionally in this field since 1965. In 1970 he developed a need to express himself in a more creative and personal form of art and he took up watercolour. Reg Cox paints a wide range of subjects including landscapes, the sea, snow, city and farms. He is a member of the Old Watercolour Club Society of London (Australian Branch) and the Victorian Artists Society.

We have records of art auction sales by Reg Cox from 1980 and in total 149 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 100 (67%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,237 for Albert Park - Melbourne sold by Amanda Addams Auctions in March 2005. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2022.
