About Frederic Marie Rene Chapeaux
Born in France in 1945, Frederic Chapeaux arrived in Australia in 1969. He studied sculpture in Sydney and exhibited in most Australian capital cities. He has received a number of commissions, including one for the Opera House in Sydney in 1977. His sculptures cover a range of media including bronze, terracotta, wood, collage and metal.
