Born 1964 in Sydney, Australia. Richardson studied at the National Art School, Sydney (1984-85) and Sydney College of the Arts (1986-88). From 1992-1994 she was in Bogota, Colombia having been the first Australian to receive an verseas study grant from the Colombian Government through ICETEX. In Colombia, she studied art and Latin-American art history at the Universidad de los Andes. She also exhibited widely including in the Salon National. In 2000 she got her Master of Fine Art by Research from RMIT University, Melbourne. She later taught screen-printing and mural painting at "Garage Graphix", Sydney. Her first solo exhibition was ‘Body into Landscape into Body’ at Gallery X, in Sydney, and since then has a number of solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, Munich and Bogota Columbia. In 2008 she moved to Germany, and now lives and works in Munich.
