About Ian Bent
Born in Victoria in 1945, Ian Bent studied at the National Art School, Sydney. Best known for a major mural at Monash University, he lived in Italy with Jeffrey Smart for some years where his work became somewhat surrealist in style.
We have records of art auction sales by Ian Bent from 1975 and in total 25 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 20 (80%) were sold.
