Born in Perth, Rolf Harris is mostly a self taught artist, entering his self portrait in the Art Gallery of New South Wales Archibald Prize competition at the age of 15. Well known as an entertainer, artist and musician he lives in London and periodically visits Australia. Harris has exhibited at the Royal Academy, London and in Perth. He has been awarded a number of art prizes and published 'A Dialogue of Comic Verse' in 1988.
