About David Brayshaw
Born in Sydney in 1960, Brayshaw is a self taught landscape painter. In 1983, he was invited to be a fellow of the Australian Institute of History and Arts for 'reaching an extraordinary degree of competence' in his field. In his mid 30s, he studied Fine Art at the Illawarra Institute and the Royal Art Society. His subjects are the Australian bush and rainforest, the coast line and the Great Barrier Reef and interiors.

The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,945 for Swain Reef, Barrier Reef Series sold by Lawsons in February 2019.
