About Ewen McDougall
After graduating from Otago University with a Bachelor of Political Studies (Hons) McDougall travelled the world, working in a wide variety of jobs. He began to paint full time in 1989. He has exhibited since 1991, both in New Zealand and the UK, and has been a finalist six times in the Wallace Art Awards, largest and longest running art awards in New Zealand.
The earliest auction listing we have for Ewen McDougall is in 2004 and in total 36 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 22 (61%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $4,785 for Untitled sold by Webb's in February 2020.
