Peter Findlay was born in India in 1943,and emigrated to Australia in 1951. He worked as an advertising artist briefly, before embarking on a career as an artist/art teacher with his art group, The Panorama Art Group in 1969. He painted pop music personalities in the sixties and seventies and some of his clientele include The Beatles, Billy Thorpe, John Farnham, PJ Proby and many of the top Australian and UK artists and groups.
