Born in 1970 in Narrogin 200 km south of Perth, Western Australia, Lori Pensini is a self taught artist, moving to the rugged Pilabara region 1400 km north of Perth after marriage, and now living and and working on a cattle property at Boyup Brook, south-east of Perth. Preferring oil on canvas, her figurative painting practice reflects the experience of living in remote Western Australia. She has held solo exhibitions since 1995 in Perth, regional Western Australia, Sydney and Melbourne and participated in numerous group exhibitions. She has been the winner, finalist or received honourable mention in over 100 art shows since 1997.
