Carol Milton was born in Melbourne in 1937. She studied at the Box Hill Technical School in 1960, the National Art School in Melbourne in 1965 and the Victorian Artists Society Life Classes in 1975. She is a member of the Guild of Realist Artists, the Victorian Artists Society and Sherbrooke Arts Society. Favouring floral and still life in oil, her first solo exhibition was in Melbourne in 1978 and since then she has held exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, and Geelong. She has won awards at the Royal Melbourne show in 1967, Chadstone Rotary Art Show in 1976, the Bayswater Rotary Art Show in 1978 and Alexandra Rotary Art Show in 1981.
