About Rosemary Mangiamele
Rosemary Mangiamele is an abstract intuitive painter, who has lived and worked in the Fitzroy area for over forty years. In 1986 she took up watercolour painting whilst in Sweden and on returning to Fitzroy she studied Chinese watercolour painting; and exhibited with the local and international group of Lingnan artists. In August 1996 she could took up painting full time.She has participated in over 50 group exhibitions, and had 9 solo exhibitions. She was Vice President of the Contemporary Art Society of Victoria, a committee member of the Australian Women’s Art Register and a past member of Roar Studios, Fitzroy.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2008.
