About Diane Millstead
Born in Melbourne in 1948, Diane Millstead studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. After several years in Germany she returned to Australia holding exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne. A painter and printmaker she travelled extensively with her then husband, entertainer Barrie Humphries, and worked with Humphries on his film productions.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 1983.
