About Christina Conrad
A New Zealand artist born in 1942, Christina Conrad is an expressionist painter of the human figure, many of her paintings heavily sculptured with the use of a mixture of paint with titanium oxide. Her work was influenced by a period in France in her late 30s. She has exhibited in major New Zealand cities and in Sydney.
The earliest auction listing we have for Christina Conrad is in 1990 and in total 122 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 75 (61%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,434 for Untitled sold by Webb's in April 1997. This year one work has been offered for sale.
