About Narelle Autio
Narelle Autio was born in South Australia in 1969 and completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts degree at the University of South Australia in 1990. She has worked as a press photographer as well as exhibiting her photographs which capture images of the Australian coast and outback. She has won World Press Awards, an American Picture of the Year Award, and a Walkley Award. Her work has been included in national and international exhibitions, including The Summer of Us at the Australia Embassy in Paris (2014-2016) and the Bibliotheque Departementale des Bouches-du-Rhone, France (2014). She is married to fellow photographer Trent Parke with whom she often collaborates.
