Born in Melbourne in 1944, Sandra Leveson is a painter, printmaker and teacher. She studied at the National Gallery of Victoria School from 1959-1963 and in the UK and USA in the mid-1970's. Leveson first exhibited her screen paintings in Melbourne in 1968, and has won a number of art prizes.

The total number of works by Sandra Leveson-Meares offered for sale by auction since 1986 is 99, of which 53 (54%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,420 for Lucio's sold by Bonhams in March 2021. This year one work has been offered for sale.
