Born in Western Australia in 1944, Murray Gill studied in Perth. An oil painter, watercolourist, printmaker and muralist, he has exhibited since 1985 in Perth, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne. Gill has won a number of awards including the WA Artist of the Year 1971. In 1987 he painted murals for the Burswood Island Resort in Perth.
