Jocelyn Burrows, was born Jocelyn Hope Orme in Devonport, Tasmania in 1893 and married Arthur Propsting Burrows in his second marriage in 1913, She was a Tasmanian watercolourist and her work is mostly of Tasmanian landscapes, especially of gum trees. She was influenced by Harry Buckie, the well-known member of the 'Sunday Painters' group of Tasmanian watercolourists, to whom she was related by marriage.
