Born in Melbourne in 1955, Nicholas Nedelkopoulos has a Diploma of Fine Arts from Victorian College of the Arts, a Master of Fine Art from the University of Melbourne (Victorian College of the Arts) and has a Doctorate from Monash University. A painter, printmaker and film director, he first exhibited in 1977 at the Victorian College of the Arts Gallery and since then has exhibited throughout Australia and in Italy, Japan and Yugoslavia. As well as being represented in Australian public galleries, his work is also in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
