Narpula was born in the late 50s in the Haasts Bluff Region and is the younger sister of Turkey Tolson. She married Johnnie Scobie and began painting in the early 80s. She is the only senior Pintupi woman painting for the Papunya Tula artists. She exhibited in Art and Aboriginality, 1987, and the Australian Art Exhibition China, in 1988.
