Born in South Australia in 1879, Daisy Rossi studied at the Adelaide School of Design and in Perth and London. She first exhibited her primitive style paintings with the Western Australian Society of Arts in 1905. Rossi became head of the Art Department at Fremantle Technical School. She wrote for various magazines and for radio.
