Sara Levi studied at the National Gallery of Victoria from 1893 to 1898. She painted landscapes and beach scenes in the plein air style. Sara Levi was a member of several art societies, including the Victorian Artists Society where she exhibited from 1907 onwards, and the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors where she exhibited from 1913 to 1937. Sara Levi was also a member of the Women's Art Club and the Bendigo Art Society. Sara Levi died in 1942.
