Born in Adelaide in 1872, Milly Hambidge studied at the South Australian School of Design, and was a regular exhibitor with the Society of Arts. She is best known as a portrait painter, her works being represented in several state collections. Milly Hambidge was a sister of artists Helen and Alice Hambidge.
