About Douglas Watson
Born in New South Wales in 1920, Watson studied at the East Sydney Technical College and in Europe. Appointed an official war artist during World War II, he later became a teacher with the New South Wales Department of Education. He was a member of the council of the New South Wales Society of Artists.
