About Patricia (Pat) Larter
Born in the United Kingdom in 1936, Pat Larter had little formal education. She married the artist Richard Larter and is featured in many of his paintings. They emigrated to Australia in about 1962. In the 1970s she became active in performance art, and started full time painting in 1990, exhibiting her mixed media paintings in Sydney.
