About John Vander
Born in Belgium in 1947, Vander arrived in Australia in 1971. Principally a landscape and streetscape artist working in oils, he also has travelled extensively through New South Wales and has painted many early country buildings. He has exhibited widely and has won a number of provincial art show awards.
