Judith White was born in Sydney. She trained at the National Art School, and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree at New England and Sydney University. She has been a practicing artist for over 25 years and has exhibited extensively throughout Australia and overseas, including many successful solo shows. Judith White has been awarded many prizes during her career. In 1999 one of her works was hung in the prestigious Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW. Judith was commissioned by the Sydney Olympic Organisers for a major public work, and in 2004 she won the Fleurieu McLaren Vale Prize in South Australia's wine region. In 2005 a large diptych was commissioned for the restaurant at the new Sydney Hilton Hotel. She is represented in many corporate collections throughout Australia and in Japan, Holland, Israel and New Zealand.
