About Lily Allport
Born in Hobart in 1860, Lily Allport studied in Europe, exhibiting at the Royal Academy, The Paris Salon, in Rome, and in Tasmania. She was an instructor at the London School of Photo Engraving and Lithography for nearly twenty years.
