Born in Melbourne in 1940, John Robinson studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and in Europe. A photo-realist painter, he has exhibited in Melbourne.

We have records of art auction sales by John Robinson from 1975 and in total 42 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 27 (64%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,640 for Cave of the Cosmic Winds Symbolic Work Nature of Reality sold by Elder Fine Art in August 2005.
