About Anita Newman
A traditional painter in the style of the Victorian era, Anita Newman was born in the UK in 1946. She studied under private tutors including Newton Hedstrom from 1969-73 and undertook a Chinese brush painting course in 1975. She has held numerous exhibitions in Sydney and Melbourne.
We have records of art auction sales by Anita Newman from 1988 and in total 157 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 107 (68%) were sold.
