Born in 1958 in New South Wales, Margaret Morgan studied in Sydney. She has taught art in tertiary institutions in Sydney since 1985, and exhibited her paintings in Sydney since 1981, and also in London and New York. She was awrded the University of NSW Travelling Scholarhsip in in 1981.
