About Christine Hart-Davies
Christine Hart-Davies was born in the Midlands, England in 1947. She studied Fine Art and Topography at Reading University, England from 1966-1970 and was awarded a BA (Hons.); She is a botanical watercolour painter and illustrator/miniaturist, with a special interest in moss and lichens. She visited Australia several times in the 1980s where she painted Australian wildflowers, including Queenslands' prehistoric Byfield fern.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2001.
