Experimental mixed media artist, Edward (Ted) Bullmore was born in New Zealand in 1933 and studied at University of Canterbury, where he completed a Diploma of Fine Arts (Hons). He taught art at Tauranga before travelling to London and Florence to further his career. In Italy he studied under Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. In London he exhibited alongside Miro, Picasso, Dali, and Magritte. After living in London for many years, Edward Bullmore returned to New Zealand in 1969.
