About John W Maund
Born in Sydney in 1876, John Maund studied law at Sydney University. A solicitor and amateur watercolourist, he was president of the Australian Watercolour Institute for some years, and trustee of the Art Gallery of New South Wales where his work is represented.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 1973.
