About Chris Langton
Born in Johannesburg in 1954 Christopher Langton arrived in Australia in 1973. A sculptor and installation artist he has held numerous solo exhibitions throughout Australia and participated in many group shows.
We have records of art auction sales by Chris Langton from 2002 and in total 10 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 5 (50%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $5,760 for Running Man 2005 sold by Lawson~Menzies (now trading as Menzies) in September 2008. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2022. Works by Chris Langton are held by the National Gallery of Victoria, Monash University Museum of Art and National Gallery of Australia.
