Born in Adelaide South Australia in 1938, Heather Clegg obtained a B.Sc. from the University of Adelaide and having undertaken a three year course graduated from the South Australian School of Art in 1969. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts in 1978. After travelling in U.K., studying pottery workshops, she set up her own studio in Tusmore South Australia. She has held solo exhibitions since 1974 in South Australia, Queensland, Victoria, N.S.W. and the Northern Territory. She has also exhibited overseas in Texas, U.S.A., Christchurch, N.Z., Penang, Malasia and Himeji,Japan.
Since 1970 we have recorded only one work being sold at auction by this artist, which was in 2012.
