About Kathleen Salmond
Born in Dunedin in 1895, Kathleen Salmond studied at Dunedin Art School and in England in Cornwall and ar St Martins Art School. She was principally a landscape and still life painter.
The total number of works by Kathleen Salmond offered for sale by auction since 1992 is 43, of which 30 (70%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $2,683 for Winter Sunlight, Southern Alps sold by International Art Centre in July 2001.
