Born in Sydney in 1954 Geoffrey Harvey studied at National Art School, Alexander Mackie College and the City Art Institute. A teacher painter, sculptor and printmaker he has exhibited in more than 50 solo exhibitions in commercial and regional galleries and is represented in several state and regional collections. After teaching fine arts at university and college level for 36 years he recently retired to become a full time artist.
