Born in London in 1943, Hills studied portraiture and composition under Henry Froudist. His works, which are of a traditional, classical style in watercolours and acrylics, have been exhibited in Western Australia and Victoria. Hills has won a number of awards and was commissioned to do the watercolour montage for Edgley Entertainment, 1975.
