Born in Victoria, Ron Crawford studied under Max Meldrum. A floral, still life and portrait artist, working in oils and a teacher, he worked from his studio in Melbourne. He was a member of The Twenty Melbourne Painters Society, Inc. and operated the 'Ronald Crawford School of Painting' (Meldrum School of Tonal Impessionism) in Melbourne.
