Born in Queensland in 1948, Patrick Hockey is mostly a self taught artist. He travelled extensively throughout Asia, the Middle East, Europe and England and returned to Australia in 1976. He is known for his unique style of painting northern Australian subjects and has exhibited in most Australian capital cities.
