About Ronald Francis
Ron Francis was born in Sydney, Australia in 1954 and moved to Melbourne in 1974. He exhibited with Profile Gallery and Melbourne Contemporary Art Galleryand then began painting trompe l'oeil murals in 1988 in affiliation with Fresco Site Specific Art. He moved to South Australia in 1991, and continued to paint trompe l'oeil murals and fine art until 2004 when, due to illness, he ceased painting murals to concentrate on fine art.
