Born in Melbourne in 1952, Geoff Lowe studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and became a painter and teacher. He has exhibited his work in the eastern states since 1975 and has won a number of art prizes.
We have records of art auction sales by Geoff Lowe from 1990 and in total 12 works by the artist have been offered for sale, of which 9 (75%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $3,737 for 'History' from the Series 'Ten Famous Feelings for Men' 1984 sold by Leonard Joel in October 2003. No works have been offered for sale this year, and the last sale we have recorded for the artist was in 2021. Works by Geoff Lowe are held by the Ian Potter Museum of Art, Monash University Museum of Art and a further eight major public national galleries (see list below).
