About Peter Hudson
Born Townsville, Queensland, in 1950 Peter Hudson is a professional artist/ jeweller/ jewellery designer/ musician since 1980 and since 2000, a full-time painter since 2000. On moving to Brisbane in 1975, Peter Hudson commenced art education at Queensland College of Art. There he studied graphics, design and illustration and qualified with a Certificate in Commercial Illustration. A contemporary painter, the he draws his material from nature, travelling extensively in the Northern Territory since 1995 to aquire ideas. He was awarded First Prize, Caloundra Art Festival, (Drawing and mixed media): 1977, First Prize, Maleny Art Award, (Champion exhibit): 1998. He has exhibited throughout Queensland and in Sydney.
