About Charles Frydrych
Born Czechoslovakia, Charles Frydrych studied in Prague and Paris and subsequently emmigrated to Australia in 1950. He is a landscape painter in oils and watercolours and worked and sold from his home and studio in the Adelaide suburb of St Mary's.
The total number of works by Charles Frydrych offered for sale by auction since 1980 is 85, of which 55 (65%) were sold. The highest price recorded for the artist is $1,000 for Granite Island, SA sold by Du Plessis Galleries in March 2000.
