Born in Melbourne in 1874, Ina Gregory studied at the National Gallery School c1893-c1898, the Melbourne School of Art in the 1890s and at Charterisville with members of the Heidelberg School of Australian art. Principally a portrait and landscape artist, she exhibited with the Victorian Artists Society from 1898 to 1912. She also illustrated and wrote several books.
