Born in Brisbane in 1945, Peter Kennedy is a self taught artist, apart from life drawing classes with Jon Molvig, and a brief period of study in Sydney. A contemporary artist and tertiary level teacher, he has held one man shows since 1965, exhibiting in the eastern states and in America and Europe. Kennedy's work is represented in several state galleries and the Tate Gallery in London.
