About Peter Liiri
Born in Finland in 1954, Peter Liiri studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and the Preston Institute of Technology whre he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts. An abstract artist working in oil, enmel and mixed media, he has exhibited his paintings in solo exhibitions since 1981 in Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra. Liiri's work is represented in the National Gallery of Australia and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Brisbane.
