About Florence Higgs
Florence Higgs, born in 1918, trained as an art teacher at the Royal Melbourne Technical College and later worked as an art teacher in Victoria. She later moved to England where she studied lithography at the Central School of Art and Design in London. She was a member of the London Guild of Weavers and the Society of Designer-Craftsmen. She was active as a printmaker in the mid-1950s.
