About Frank William Brangwyn
Born in Bruges, of Welsh extraction. English School. Studied at South Kensington. Went to sea and travelled widely. His work is mostly on an imaginative and heroic scale. A.R.A. 1904, R.A. 1919. Represented in Melbourne National Gallery by two works.
